Get to know Essaouira's unique history, culture, and heritage on a 2-day tour from Agadir. During the drive, we will have stops, The first is to take photos of the goats climbing Argan trees; second, we will stop at an Argan factory producing Argan Oil. Then, continue to Essaouira for a sightseeing tour, including the old harbour, old Portuguese fortress, the old medina, markets/souks, and a walk along the Essaouira beach.

  • Day 1: Agadir - Tagazoute - Essaouria expand_more
    • After breakfast, we will drive from Agadir to Essaouira. While in Essaouira, we will explore the city and visit the following attractions:
      • Medina of Essaouira offers a beautiful colour in the middle of the small shopping streets. The Moroccan-Portuguese style, the Great Mosque, patios, coffee shops, and souks will be available for your visual pleasure.
      • Visit the Souk within the Medina: In the middle of the narrow streets is the Souk Jdid (new markets), divided into four large markets with a crossing of two main streets.
      • Gallery Walk: Essaouira is a city of artists and painters are numerous.
      • Visit the walls of the Scala and the Kasbah: Essaouira was built along with its walls that served as a defence against the enemies.
      • Visit from Essaouira port: The port of Essaouira is located at the bottom of the walls. The animation is still present and you will see trawlers unloading their fish in the port. You will enjoy a fish lunch at the port or in a local restaurant. After lunch, you can enjoy a drink on the terrace or enjoy a walk on the beach of Essaouira. Or you can ride a camel or enjoy a raid on quads.
  • Day 2: Essaouira – Agadir expand_more
    • After breakfast in your hotel, you will have free time to explore Essaouira and explore the city if you want to buy some souvenirs. 
    • By the afternoon, we will drive back to Agadir through the argan forest of Tmanar and Taghazout bay. 
    • Arrive in Agadir and check in to your hotel.
