• Depart at 8h30am and head towards Tizi n Tichka Pass at an altitude of 2260 m (7417 ft), which is the highest road in Morocco. Consisting of steep valleys, rocky plains and deep narrow canyons, Berber hamlets built of Pisé still cling to mountainsides with its noticeably strikingly beautiful form of fortified architecture offering a unique panoramic view. 

• Visit the picturesque Berber village of Ait Ben Haddou, which has been often used as a film location. 

• After lunch, continue your drive by crossing the peaceful Ouarzazate 1160 m (3807 ft) then the small sleepy town of Skoura surrounded by an impressive palm grove.

• Visit the most imposing Kasbah of Amredil which was once owned by the Glaoui family, cross the "fortress town of El Kelaa M'Gouna 1450 m (4759 ft) located in the heart of the rose country.

Overnight at the impressive Dades gorge.

• After breakfast, head further southeast. Cross the administrative town of Tinghir and the Todgha gorge with its sheer cliffs 300 m (985 ft) high.

• After lunch at the Berber town Tinjdad, drive to Tafilalet oasis with its thousands of palm grove and cross the peaceful town Erfoud known for the souk that overflows with dates of every variety particularly in October. This is also where the Date Festival, at the end of the date harvest, takes place.

• After 53 km (33 miles) southeast, the most amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi, extend for 30 km (19 miles).

• Saddle up your camel for 2 hours journey to the Berber tents that are located in the heart of the Desert, tea is served upon arrival by “the blue men of the Sahara”.

Dinner is also served at the camp and the night is spent in the tent.

• Wake up before sunrise to attend the impressive view of the sunrise over the dunes. Have your camel ride back to the Inn (Auberge) to have breakfast.

• After taking a shower, you will be driven back to Marrakech.

• Visit the picturesque former Galoui Kasbah located at the heart of Ouarzazate.

• Have lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Kasbah and presume your trip to Marrakech. 

• Arrive at around 6 pm.
