DAY-1 MARRAKECH – IMLIL – SIDI CHAMHAROUCH – TOUBKAL REFUGE expand_more
8:00 am: Get picked up from hotel in Marrakech.
Drive to Imlil (1740m), a Berber village located about 65 km south from Marrakech and starting point of the trek.
Meet the Berber muleteer crew, who will accompany trekkers. They will also take care of their luggage, baggage, food, and other necessary equipment.
Commence the trek, led by an official and experienced Toubkal mountain guide.
Walk through Berber villages via the Sidi Chamharouch shrine (2500m) to reach mountain hut.
Stop for picnic lunch.
After the lunch break, continue towards the Toubkal Refuge (3200m).
At Toubkal refuge, enjoy a glass of refreshing mint tea. A hot shower will be available to wash off the dust and freshen up for the next day.
Enjoy traditional Moroccan meal for dinner. Trek during summer months includes an option to camp overnight.

DAY-2 TOUBKAL REFUGE – SUMMIT – IMLIL - MARRAKECH expand_more
Next morning, start the day early at 5:00 am and enjoy light breakfast.
Begin ascent climb at 5:30 am.
Take a mid-climb break for refreshments.
Walk uphill for 3-4 hours, enjoying a picturesque view of all the High Atlas Mountains, valleys, and Berber villages.
Reach the summit. Enjoy break of 45 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent view.
After the break, climb down and return to the hut for lunch.
Start the journey towards Imlil, following the same route down the hill.
Drive back from Imlil to Marrakech.
End of tour.

The Toubkal ascent trek typically takes 2 days during the summer season, and 3 days during the winter season.
