Starting with the oldest and best-preserved medieval town of Cesis, have a professional photoshoot around its historical site and its impressive medieval fortress while learning interesting stories and facts about its historical past. Visit the majestic UNESCO-Heritage Riga Old Town and kickstart the second round of photoshoot.

    • Be escorted from your hotel at 10:00 hr to Cesis for a 1 h drive.

    • Start the Photowalk around the Old Town of Cesis at 11:00 hr.

    • Head to the medieval castle ruins. The Medieval castle was originally commissioned in 1209 and was then the residence of the Grand Master of the German Livonian Order.

    • Sit for a coffee break in a cosy place at about 12:00 hr.

    • Travel back to Riga at 13:00 hr and have lunch in the Old Town.

    • Photowalk around the Old Town of Riga by 15:30 hr, discovering all the emblematic spots.

    • Drop-off at the hotel by 17:00 hr.

Know before you go

  • Please note that due to limited capacity, this tour is offered to a max. of 4 travellers per booking.

  • What is best to wear? Ideally, any mix of colourful pieces. It is recommended to avoid pure white and black tones for better contrast with the background. 

  • During the photoshoot: For your own comfort, it is highly recommended not to take extra items during the photoshoot (e.g: bags)

  • How and when do we get the pictures? Pictures will be sent to your email address via a WeTransfer email, from where you’ll be able to download them. You will receive the pictures within 2-3 working days, allowing 7 days to download.

  • How many pictures do we get? You will get between 60 to 80 edited pictures depending on the number of people.

  • Can we get the pictures printed? No, you will get the pictures only in digital format, but in a high-quality resolution, meaning you can print them in any size if needed.

  • What does the "editing" cover? All the pictures will be edited with proper lighting and colour adjustments, but won't be retouched or manipulated.

  • Weather: In case of light rain, you will be provided with nice colourful umbrellas. In case of heavy rain, the photoshoot will be stopped, and either cancelled or rescheduled for another date.

  • Pictures usage: The guides keep the right to use some of the pictures taken during the photoshoot-tour as promotional material for the company’s image & social media channels unless explicit disapproval from the client.
