DAY 01

AIrport to Negombo

  • Pick-up from the airport and transfer to Negombo.

  • Visit the Negombo Beach and Dutch Canal.

  • Go and see the Negombo Fort, which is The Dutch Fort in Sri Lanka (The Military Monument of Ceylon).

  • Overnight stay in Negombo.

DAY 02

Negombo to Kandy

  • Have breakfast and visit Kandy.

  • Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Here, you can see the baby elephants getting fed using milk bottles. Afterwards, they are taken to a nearby river for their daily bath.

  • See the Temple of Tooth, where one of Buddha's tooth is kept. 

  • Overnight stay in Kandy.

Meals: Breakfast.

DAY 03

Kandy

  • Have breakfast and visit the market and an Arts & Crafts showroom. 

  • Drive along the Upper Lake Road to get a panoramic view of the Kandy lake and its environs.

  • Drive past the picturesque University premises.

  • Witness a cultural pageant highlighting various up-country dance forms, including a fire walking display.

  • Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY 04

KaNDY TO Nuwara-Eliya

  • Explore Nuwara Eliya (City Of Lights). It is also known as 'Little England', as it was the favourite hill station of the British who tried to transform it into a typical English village. 

  • Visit the following main attractions with our local tour guide-

    • The Golf Course.

    • Trout Streams.

    • Victoria Park.

    • Boating or Fishing on Lake Gregory.

    • Tea factory. The slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world's finest Orange Pekoe tea.

  • Overnight stay in Nuwara-Eliya.

Meals: Breakfast.


DAY 05

Nuwara-Eliya

  • Have breakfast and visit Nuwara-Eliya.

  • Visit Seetha Eliya And Haggala Gardens en route if you wish. Seetha Eliya is a temple, which was mentioned in the famous epic Ramayana. Haggala is a temperate Hill-Country garden, where languid low-country Lotus and Water Lily float in their serene loveliness.  Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 06

Nuwara-Eliya to Ella

  • Have breakfast and visit Ella. The views through Ella Gap are stunning and on a clear night, you can even see the subtle glow of the Great Basses lighthouse on Sri Lanka's south coast. 

  • Visit the Rawana Ella Falls, which is about 5 km away on the road south through Ella Gap.

  • Take a walk through the tea plantations to Little Adam's Peak, which is located south-east of the town centre.

  • Visit Ella Rock en route. If you wish, you can try more strenuous exercise walk to the top of Ella Rock for views across the Hill Country and with the town nestled in the hills below you.

  • Overnight stay in Ella.

DAY 07

Ella to bentota

  • Have breakfast and visit Bentota. Facing the Indian Ocean, a tropical lagoon and a major river; Bentota offer water sports possibilities.

  • Try jet-skiing, windsurfing, parasailing or a romantic river safari on the river and lagoon.

  • Overnight stay in Bentota.

Meals: Breakfast.


DAY 08

Bentota tour

  • Have breakfast and visit Bentota.

  • Explore the land of watersports and Ayurveda. It is also famous for its toddy production, which is an alcoholic beverage made out of coconut nectar. 

  • Visit the turtle hatchery, which is located on Induruwa beach.

  • Stay overnight in Bentota.

DAY 09

Bentota to colombo

  • Have breakfast and visit Colombo. The architecture here is a mixture of colonial buildings, high-rises and shopping malls. 

  • Visit the Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history. It is the largest museum in Sri Lanka.

  • Proceed to the Galle Face, which is a five-hectare ocean-side urban park.

  • Overnight stay in Colombo.

Meals: Breakfast.

DAY 10

colombo-departure

  • Have breakfast and rest of the time at leisure. 

  • Proceed to the airport to catch a flight back home.
