Therefore during your total stay at Vil Uyana, which is an eco-friendly boutique hotel, we will explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka that includes some of the fascinating UNESCO Heritage sites out of the total in eight in Sri Lanka.

  •  The Heritance Tea Factory was once exactly that before it was painstakingly converted into a four-star resort and arguably the finest hotel in the highlands.

  • In a nostalgic recreation of the years of steam travel -- a narrow gauge railway ran along these slopes until 1940 -- the Tea Factory's fine-dining restaurant is a restored railway carriage, where you can enjoy a five-course meal with an infusion of Western and Eastern influences without any risk of soot in your eye. But it is the setting that delights many -- the gentle howl of the night-time breezes is likely to lull the most troubled mind to sleep. Heritance Tea Factory follows a strictly green philosophy and does much to conserve nature and develop the local village communities.

  • Yala National Park, with a total protected area of 126,768 hectares, consists of scrub plains, lagoons and rocky sections and offers the broadest cross-section of the country's flora and fauna. In terms of game-viewing, this is probably the best place to see all of the 'big three': elephant, leopard and water buffalo.

  • Chaaya Wild is an appealing, eco-friendly game lodge scattered over 10 acres of scrub jungle bordering Yala National Park and the secluded south-east beaches. An atmosphere of rustic chic and excellent management make this 4-star property, upgraded from its former guise as Yala Village, the best accommodation in the area.

  • Based at Mirissa Harbour, Mirissa Water Sports offers exciting water sports activities such as sailing, fishing, coastal cruises, river trips, sea kayaking, snorkelling and boating activities for visitors to the South coast. Mirissa Water Sports is a charitable organization helping to generate employment for the youth from the tsunami-affected coastal areas.

  • Lighthouse is the inspired creation of the late Geoffrey Bawa, Sri Lanka's iconic architect, who was responsible for linking the islands ancient architecture with modern minimalism. Located on a rocky headland overlooking the Indian Ocean, this elegant hotel conveys an immediate sense of Galles history. The Portuguese landing at Galle is re-enacted in brass and bronze on the impressive main staircase and an ambitious batik of ancient coats of arms fills the ceiling of the restful main bar. The hotel design demonstrates Bawas skill in integrating architecture and landscape. Smart terraces sweep down to a small sandy bay, where a natural reef sometimes allows relatively safe swimming. Large swimming pools and sundecks have clear views of the ocean. Jetwing Lighthouse is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is owned by the Jetwing group a premier travel and leisure company owning several luxurious hotel properties in the country.

  • Owning the perfect holiday is decided how fast you can click on the inquire tab because this is the tour package that encloses ancient cities, tea-growing hills, natural wildlife parks, pristine Ocean beaches and collection of fine accommodation thrills which are a fusion of chic, classic and character. The speciality about this is, it can be totally customized and you are able to enjoy the highlights of the tour at your own pace.
