DAY 01

Negombo

  • Depart from your Home country in an overnight flight to Sri Lanka.

  • Arrival at Bandaranaya International Air Port.

  • Garland welcome by Indika Ranasinghe.

  • Transfer to the Hotel reserved for you.

  • In the afternoon, explore the natural beauty of Negombo, joining a cruising in the smooth waters of the coastal lagoon and in the historic Hamilton Canal.

  • Understand the cultural life of our fishing community by visiting the fish market. Share our history as you drift through the colourful wilderness of fishing boats, coconut palms, mangrove forests, birds and marine creatures.

  • Admire the tropical adventure in a pristine beach.

  • Stay Overnight at Negombo.

DAY 02

Negombo/NuwaraEliya

  • After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. It’s an inland drive towards the magnificent beautiful country of Sri Lanka through the tea growing hilly mountains.

  • It is approximately a 5-hour journey. Stop en route for lunch.

  • Check into the hotel for relaxation. Stay overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 03

Nuwara Elya

  • After breakfast, join a sightseeing tour to the historic and beautiful nature garden at Hag gala.

  • Visit the Seetha Amman Kovil where the Hindu Goddess Sitha was captivated by King Ravana the head of the demons.

  • Nuwara Eliya is famous not only for delighted tea but also for strawberry cultivation. Visit one of them nearby later this evening.

  • Alternatively, if you are smart enough join a three-hour challenging terrain as an optional excursion admiring the nature at the Horton Plains embedding everlasting memories with the views over the surrounding countryside, visiting the incredibly renowned World’s End precipice.

  • Quench your thirst at the Grand Hotel, tasting a delighted cup of tea grown in the hills of Nuwara Eliya.

  • Relax at the hotel for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 04

Nuwara Eliya / Kandy

  • Head out for Kandy.

  • En route Kandy, visit a local tea plantation and a tea factory to get to know the process the leaves go through from being on the plant to the cup of tea admired by you.

  • Visit Glenloch Tea Factory for lunch, experiencing the aroma of the tea leaves being processed there.

  • Before you reach Kandy City, visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya. You’ll be delighted to witness a vast selection of Sri Lanka’s native flora as well as many exotic species and a renowned orchid collection.

  • Check in to the hotel for relaxation. Overnight stay at Kandy.

DAY 05

Kandy

  • Kandy is one of the most valued cities globally for the spread of Buddhism throughout the World. The Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha is housed in the Temple of Tooth Relic at Kandy. Join a tour to visit the Temple of Tooth Relic after breakfast.

  • Admire the residential beauty of the Kandy Lake, joining a classic Boat Ride.

  • Visit the fruit market to taste the authentic species of Sri Lankan fruits available.

  • The Last dynasty kingdom of Kenyan excelled the teachings of Buddha entertaining and constructing many Buddhist temples. The two most important and impressive Temples are Gadaladeniya and Lankathilaka. Visiting these during the day is a must, as you will in the afternoon after lunch at Kandyan Art Residency.

  • After the arrival at your hotel, join a dynamic Cultural shown in the evening.

  • Stay overnight at Kandy.

DAY 06

Kandy/Dambulla

  • After breakfast, marvel at the Ambakka Temple to discover the cultural spirit of Sri Lankan natives with their delicate methods of the art of wood carvings, beams and pillars, before departing Kandy. Afterwards, Head for Dambulla.

  • Sri Lankan spices are not second to any products available worldwide, and the central parts of the Matale District are famed for spice gardens. On your way to Dambulla, avail the opportunity of visiting one of these specific cultivations to gain the experience of world-famous spices produced in Sri Lanka for export purposes as well as inherited to Sri Lankans.

  • Check in to your hotel for relaxation and overnight stay at Dambulla

DAY 07

Dambulla/Habarana

  • After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple of Dambulla which is a UNESCO preserved cultural Buddhist sight.

  • Explore the caves built by King Walagambahu, depicting the life of the Bodhisathwa before the enlightment.

  • Proceed to Habarana afterwards. Check into the hotel. After lunch, join a safari heading out on a game drive into Ninneriya National Park to see wild elephants.

  • Return to hotel for relaxation and for over night stay.

DAY 08

Habarana/Polonnaruwa

  • After breakfast, check out early in the morning to visit the UNESCO cultural site at Stgiriya. It is an adventure to climb approximately 1200 steps of the iconic Sigirya rock and to reach the summit of this granite peak.

  • You will be astonished to witness the views of the jungle and the ruins of the ancient city below and conclude a judgment by yourself about the cultural importance and the value of the fantastic decision to erect a natural fortress by King Kassapa to defend himself and to protect his harem.

  • Descending Sigiriya rock, head for Polonnaruwa to explore another cultural site recognised by UNESCO.

  • Check into your selected hotel.

  • After lunch, visit the ruins of the second capital city, shifted to Polonnaruwa by King Vijayabahu, after the fall of Anuradhapura succeeded by the King Parakkaramabahu the Great. The striking UNESCO-listed ruins of the second Sri Lankan capital still retains many of its ancient buildings including of the Royal Palace which was built in the 12th Century. The well-preserved Audience Hall with beautifully-carved elephant reliefs and the Sacred Quadrangle exists majestically centred on the circular Vatadage.

  • Many magnificent Buddhist stone carvings are still remaining at a ruined Buddhist temple site and stupors (Pagodas) also remains astonishing the spiritual feelings characterizing the hearts of the Buddhists.

  • Check in to the hotel to rest overnight at Polonnaruwa.

DAY 09

Polonnaruwa/Pasikudah

  • After breakfast, proceed to Passikudah which is situated on the island’s tranquil east coast.

  • Relax at the beach until evening.

  • Check into the hotel to rest overnight in Passikudah.

DAY 10

Passikudah For 02 Days

  • Your time in Passikudah is free for relaxation, following your cultural tour of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country and Cultural Triangle.

  • Set right at the centre of the sweeping bay, there is little more to do at your resort but relax on the sands, by the pool or in the spa.

  • There are also a host of water sports available as well as romantic sunset cruises and snorkelling tours.

DAY 11

  • Another day to relax by the beach.

DAY 12

Negombo

  • Transfer to the airport for your return home.

  • End of Tour.
