See the best of cultural and historical sites in Sri Lanka, and also get to experience feeding and riding elephants.

  • Day 1: Colombo/Pinnawala/Habarana expand_more

    • Meet personal chauffeur / guide at the hotel, followed by drive to the elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants abandoned by their mothers.

    • Proceed to Habarana to enjoy elephant back safari.

    • Continue on the cultural triangle region.

    • Visit the spice garden in Matale and head to Dambulla.

    • Explore the rock cave temple and see some of the frescoes that date back to 2000 years.

    • Enjoy dinner, breakfast, and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2: Habarana/Polonnaruwa/Habarana expand_more

    • Visit the 2nd Capital of Sinhalese Kings, dating back to the 11th and 12th century. The entire landscape of Polonnaruwa is surrounded by huge man-made reservoirs, most of which are Parakrama Samudraya.

    • Witness the gal Vehera complex, one of the best landmarks of Sri Lankan fine sculptures.

    • Return to Habarana late in the afternoon.

    • Dinner, breakfast & overnight stay in hotel.

  • Day 3: Habarana/Colombo expand_more

    • Optional excursion to Anuradhapura.

    • Transfer to hotel; end of tour.
