  • Day 1: Arrival, Pinnawala to Kandy expand_more
    • Arrive in Sri Lanka and meet up with your local guide. 
    • Transfer to Kandy. En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It was established to treat and look after the orphaned baby elephants, patriarchs, and adult wild elephants that missed love, care, and protection. 
    • Check-in at a hotel in Kandy.
    • Get a chance to taste the real culture of Sri Lanka while enjoying a colourful cultural show of an Upcountry stage performance performed by traditional dancers.

  • Day 2: Kandy expand_more
    • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. It is located in the Royal Palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. 
    • Make your way to the Royal Botanical Garden. It is near the longest river in Sri Lanka, the Mahaweli River. The Garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees.
    • Stroll through the Gem Museum, a traditional Batik-Making Factory, which will provide an understanding of how it’s been made. A stroll in the marketplace would also be interesting.

  • Day 3: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya expand_more
    • Travel to Nuwara Eliya to explore this hill country. 
    • Visit the stunning Ramboda waterfall. It is 109m high, and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest water in the world.
    • Stop and enjoy a cup of Ceylon Tea while enjoying the spectacular scenery. Spend the evening relaxing in the cool climate.

  • Day 4: Nuwara Eliya to Ella expand_more
    • Drive to Horton Plains National Park in the morning. Explore this protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and covered by a montage of grassland and cloud forest. The Horton Plains are the headwaters of three major Sri Lankan rivers, the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. In Sinhala, the plains are known as Maha Eliya Plains.
    • Transfer to Ella and get a chance to witness Ravana Falls and Ella Gap. The Ravana Falls is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country.

  • Day 5: Ella to Mirissa expand_more
    • Enjoy hiking and trekking to Little Adam’s Peak and experience a fulfilling view of exotic misty mountains and small waterfalls. It is moderately an easy hike, and signs mark the path, so it’s easy to find and popular among tourists. 
    • Expect to meet many other people from all over the world on this trip. The Little Adam’s Peak got its name after its big brother, the holy mountain Adam’s peak, because of the similar shape. 
    • Transfer to Mirissa in the evening.

  • Day 6: Mirissa expand_more
    • Get on board a boat to meet the whales dancing on the nearby Mirissa coast. Whale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities you can do in Sri Lanka. Every morning from September to April, boats run to see blue whales. Spot different kinds of whales and dolphins, including Blue whales, Bryde's whales, Sperm whales, Killer whales and a few types of dolphins from time to time.
    • Enjoy evening leisure at Mirissa beach. Take a chance to climb the Parrot Rock in Parrot Island, Mirissa.

  • Day 7: Mirissa to Colombo expand_more
    • Transfer to Colombo.
    • Engage in some shopping in the city of Colombo while witnessing the stunning cityscapes. 
    • Visit many of Colombo's historical, religious, and commercial sites, including the historic and bustling Fort and Pettah, the elite residential Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle Face Green, Viharamahadevi Park and much more.
