DAY 01

Airport/Negombo

Highlights - Negombo leisure beach, Dutch Fort in Negombo and water sports

  • On this day of the tour, you will be welcomed by our tour representative.

  • Then, you will be transferred to Negombo. On your way to Negombo, you can find out different lifestyles of Sri Lankan people. It might be a small distance but you will learn a lot about it. After you come to the hotel, you can go to the beach and feel some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful scenarios of the beach and relax.

DAY 02

Negombo

Highlights - Kelaniya Buddhist Temple, Muthurajawela Marsh and Marine Life

  • After delicious breakfast, enjoy yourself in Negombo. Fine beaches are superbly maintained by the hotels while some are always busy with fisherman and their equipment. Equipment for water sports such as diving, windsurfing, and fishing is available at most hotels and private vendors.

DAY 03

Negambo/Dambulla/Sigiriya

Highlights - Dambulla Rock Temple, Dambulla rock temple, Iron Wood Forest, and Rose Quartz Mountain

  • In the morning, post enjoying yummy breakfast in the hotel at Negombo, be taken to Dambulla, famous for Dambulla Rock Temple which dates back to 1st century BC. This temple was constructed by King Walagambahu and today stands as a renowned World Heritage Site. You are sure to be awestruck gazing at these impressive cave temples of Sri Lanka.

DAY 04

Dambulla/Sigiriya

Highlights - Sigiriya rock and Sigiriya museum

  • Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. And climb Sigiriya rock fortress that is a world heritage site, constructed by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) in the 5th century. The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the cleanse forest. The rock was the innermost behold of the 70 hectares equipped town. At most, rampant and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock.

  • Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a protected pocket of the rock approached by a curved stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster.

DAY 05

Dambulla/Sigiriya/Kandy

Highlights - Visit the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum, Kandy Lake and a lapidary

  • In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast hotel in Dambulla or Sigiriya. After that, you will be taken to Kandy, the previous capital of the Sri Lankan kings and a World Heritage Site. Thereafter, witness a cultural show.

DAY 06

Kandy/Nuwara Eliya

Highlights - wonderful greenish diversity of trees, plants and flowers, Mackwoods tea factory, Sri Lanka s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet), refreshing mountain and one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia

  • After delicious breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, you will be transferred from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Fall. En-route visit a tea factory/plantation and some beautiful waterfalls. Nuwara Eliya. This town seems like a piece of English district. Tudor-style and Victorian homes look across the blue lake. These buildings are the other architectural monuments to the English, including the Post Office, the English country house like Hill Club with its hunting pictures, mounted hunting trophies and fish, Anglican Church and private residence. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. Walking sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening

DAY 07

Nuwara Eliya/Kataragama

Highlights - Visit historical places

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama. Kataragama Hindu Temple. Kataragama temple is a Hindu and Buddhist temple complex dedicated to Skanda-Murukan also known as Kataragamadevio. It is one of the few religious sites in Sri Lanka that is venerated by the majority Sinhala Buddhists, minority Hindu Tamils, Muslims and the indigenous Vedda people. It is a collection of modest shrines, of which the one dedicated to Skanda-Murukan also known as Kataragamadevio is the most important. For most of the past millennia, it was a jungle shrine very difficult to access but currently is accessible by an all-weather road.

DAY 08

Kataragama/Kirinda

Highlights - Visit Yala National Park

  • Situated south of Sri Lanka close to Yala National Park, Kirinda Beach is a popular beach venue for thousands of devotees who go on pilgrimage to Katharagama–the place of worship, South of Sri Lanka where all Sri Lankans visit so religiously regardless of their religion or creed.

DAY 09

Kataragama

Highlights - Whole day at leisure in Kataragama

  • Breakfast at a Hotel in Kataragama. The whole day, enjoy yourself at Kirinda.

DAY 10

Kataragama/Unawatuna

Highlights - Jungle Beach, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Swimming, Boat Rides and Turtle Hatchery

  • After delicious breakfast at the hotel in Kataragama, you will be transferred to Unawatuna. West coast of Sri Lanka, a popular tourist destination is also a breeding ground for turtles. Legend says that Unawatuna was created from a piece of earth from Himalaya, that had fallen from Hanuman in the Ramayanaya epic.

  • Unlike the other resorts to the north Unawatuna is still a very quiet place and an excellent location to enjoy the tropical beauty in relative recluse. Ideal for snorkelling and swimming, the beach has been acclaimed amongst the 12 best beaches in the world. There are some coral reefs to be explored at nearby Rumassala and now becoming popular as a bird-watching location. Unawatuna offers a wide range of accommodation scattered around the nearby village, but for more luxurious places are a few minutes’ drive from the beach. The beach side bars and restaurants are in abundance here.

DAY 11

Unawatuna

Highlights - Whole day at leisure in Unawatuna

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Unawatuna. Then, enjoy yourself in Unawatuna with your Srilanka tour guide. There is a reef protecting the beach, which makes it safe for bathing. The serene soundings and the Dutch architecture add to the charm of the place. You can unwind yourself sitting on the beach sand, gazing at the spectacular vistas of the sea blending with the multi-hued skies.

DAY 12

Unawatuna/Hikkaduwa

Highlights - Hikkaduwa leisure beach, corals, Tsunami Memorial and BBQ night

  • After a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Hikkaduwa, you can enjoy the place of Hikkaduwa. It is a famous beach destination with excellent cuisine, good accommodations, a stunning coral reef and white sandy beaches. Water sports and related activities are also a popular feature. Well endowed with a variety of underwater species, the Coral Sanctuary is a magnificent reef bursting with life. It is a haven for divers and swimmers as it provides water activities like snorkelling, diving and more. The glass-bottom boats are a popular attraction for the spectacular view of the coral reefs that they provide.

Hikkaduwa/Beruwala

  • After breakfast at the hotel in Hikkaduwa, proceed to Beruwala for Waterskiing, Banana boating, fishing & Jet skiing. Waterskiing, banana boating and jet skiing can also be enjoyed in the calm waters of the Beruwala River and these fun activities offer excitement for all ages and any skill level.

DAY 15

Beruwala/Colombo

  • After having your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Beruwala. You will be transferred Beruwala to  Colombo. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world beauty is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several colonial buildings during the British Period.

  • Visit the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for a bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.

DAY 17

Colombo/AAirport

  • Breakfast at the Hotel in Colombo. 

  • Transfer from Colombo to Airport to board the flight for your onward journey.

  • The name "Kandy" conjures a vision of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions, and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. The Kandy Lake was constructed by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum and a lapidary. Also, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
