6 Days Trekking tour itinerary for Vang Vieng & Vientiane: Tour Laos's Capital City
Vang Vieng, Vientiane
Witness the best of nature attractions at this city and surrounding areas. Go on boat cruises, stop at Houeimaw fishing village, explore the Phou Kham and Water Caves, relax at the Blue Lagoon and kayak down a river during this tour.
Arrive at Wattay airport, get picked up by your guide and driver.
Head to Souphaphone Hotel.

Vientiane - Namngum Lake - Vangvieng
Depart Vientiane by minivan for the NamNgum Lake.
Make a stop on the way at the Ban Keun traditional salt extraction plant.
Continue driving to NamNgume lakefront.
Enjoy your lunch cruise on the lake with the scenery of the landscapes.
After the cruise, we continue our driving to Vang Vieng.
On the way, we will make some stop for the toilet and then at Houeimaw Village, a fishermen' village.
Arrive Vang Vieng in the late afternoon.

Vangvieng - Phanguen Cliff - Thamphukham by bicycle
After your breakfast, we set off to Phukham cave by bicycle.
Cross the suspension bridge. Enjoy the view of the landscape and the rice paddy fields.
Along the way, we will also trek up to the top of Pha Ngeun cliff, it’s about for the viewpoint of Vangvieng town.
Continue our journey to Phou Kham cave.
Lunch at the local restaurant and after that relax or enjoy your time at the Blue Lagoon.
Head back to your hotel.
Dinner on your own.

Vangvieng - PhaXang - Water cave - Kayakking
Spend the morning on your own.
In the afternoon, we will explore the Water Cave, located about 15 km away from Vangvieng. To do this, we will be driven there and after that have a short trek through the Lowlander tribe village of Phaxang.
Arrive in front of the Water cave, the guide will give instruction before tubing experience into the cave (roughly half an hour).
After that, we return to where our local transportation stop.
Continue to drive to where our kayaking location and then enjoy our kayaking experience down the Namxong river. Have fun with your kayaking until reaching the stopping point, then free time at your own leisure.

Vangvieng - Vientiane Capital
After your breakfast, we return to Vientiane by the minivan.
On the way, we will stop at the cave of Tham Jang and Vangxang archaeological site.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, explore the supermarket in Vientiane and the Mekong riverside for sunset.
Dinner at the local restaurant (On own account).
Overnight at Souphaphone Hotel (B).

Head to the airport for your departure flight home.
