Get picked up from hotel by an English speaking Luang Prabang tour guide and driver.
Visit the former Royal Palace, now National Museum (closed every Tuesday).
Walk up the significant stupa for the local residents, called Phousi.
Move on to visit the most beautiful and oldest temple, Wat Xiengthong.
Before heading to Ban Xang Khong, visit a village famous for hand made papers and textile silk weaving.
Go back to the city center for your lunch.
Head to Kwangsi waterfall. It’s about 30 km south of Luang Prabang by car.
Visit Hmong tribal village of Ban Na Ouan on the way.
Stop at Ban Ou Meuangkhai village for pictures of the terraced rice paddy fields and to see the local life.
Arrive at the waterfall, enjoy the beautiful scenery. Swim or relax near the clear pools of the terraced limestone formations.
