- Meet the tour guide at Dostyk Avenue, near the Kazakhstan Hotel, and start the tour.
- Go to Medeu (by taxi, car, or bus), climb up the stairs to the dam and go ice skating. (Please let the guide know in advance if you would like to do ice skating.)
- Catch a cable car to Shymbulak. Here we can go skiing. (Please let me know in advance if you would like to.)
- Visit Kok-tobe Park on the way back to the city center. It is an amusement park on top of Kok-tobe Mountain with a Ferris wheel and the Beatles sculpture.
- Head for Green Bazaar. The city's central market is where you can try horse and camel milk and other unique local cuisine products.
- Proceed to Panfilov Park. It is not far from the Green Bazaar. It is an urban park dedicated to 28 WW2 heroes from Almaty, which contains Zenkov Cathedral, the second tallest wooden building in the world built without nails. Take a short walk there and take a look at the Zenkov Cathedral.
