Description

Drive from Almaty to the Charyn National Park to spot the variety of animals, stroll through the Charyn Canyon and visit the Valley of Castles before going to Kolsai Lake. The next day, go to Kaindy Lake, take multiple pictures, and then head for an excursion at the Black Canyon and the Moon Valley.

  • Day 1: Almaty - Charyn - Kolsay expand_more

    • 8:00: Get picked up from homestay in Almaty, move to Charyn National Park and enjoy wild nature. Also, visit the Valley of castles.

    • 11:00: Walk inside the Charyn canyon and do sightseeing. Eat lunch inside the canyon

    • 16:00: Drive to Kolsai lake and enjoy sightseeing.

    • 19:00: Head to Saty settlement.

    Dinner and overnight at the local guesthouse (B, L, D)

  • Day 2: Saty - Kaindy - Almaty expand_more

    • 8:00: Eat breakfast in the Saty village.

    • 10:00: Drive to Kaindy Lake (off-road). Take photos and go for a short hike around the lake.

    • 13:00: Head to Saty settlement and have lunch.

    • 14:30: Drive to Black canyon and moon valley.

    • 16:00: Savour walking and sightseeing the Moon valley

    • 19:00: Return to Almaty (B, L, D).
