• Visit Ginkaku-ji, officially named Jishō-ji, a Zen temple in the Sakyo ward of Kyoto.
• Go to Honen-in, a Buddhist temple located in Sakyō-ku.
• Stroll through Philosopher's path or Tetsugaku No Michi, a pedestrian path that follows a cherry-tree-lined canal.
• Explore Eikan-do, the head temple for the Seizan branch of Japan's Jōdo-shū Buddhist sect.
• Admire Nanzen-ji, a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto.

Sites covered; PM:

• Visit Yasaka-Jinja, once called Gion Shrine, is a Shinto shrine in the Gion District of Kyoto.
• Stroll through Ninnenn-Zaka & Sannenn-Zaka, stone-paved pedestrian road and tourist attraction in Higashiyama-ku.
• Explore Kiyomizu-Dera, a Buddhist temple in eastern Kyoto.
• Go to the Gion district, Kyoto’s geisha district, with hostesses in colourful kimonos often sighted on the wooden Tatsumi Bridge or amid upscale Japanese restaurants and boutiques on Hanamikoji Street. 
• Enjoy a Digest Traditional Performing Art Show, Gion corner (18:00 or 19:00).
• Ending Point at a station nearby Gion, or Kyoto station.
