DAY 01

Amman Airport - Amman City Tour - Dead Sea Hotel

  • Get a warm reception at Amman Airport, before immigration formalities.

  • Today, discover Jordan's capital Amman, spread over 20 hills. First, visit the Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace and the Hercules Temple as well as the Archaeological Museum with its excellent collection.

  • In downtown, witness the Roman Theatre, dating back to 2nd century and the traditional souks.

  • Then, stroll off to Jabal, Amman with its 19th century houses, in one of them the late King Hussein had been born. After that, get an idea of the modernity of the city by driving through Abdoun, a residential area and the centre of nightlife.

  • Transfer to the lowest point on the earth, the Dead Sea, where ever since the days of Herod the Great, people have flocked in search of its curative secrets.

  • Free time, check in & overnight.

DAY 02

Dead Sea Hotel - Dana View - Shobak - Petra Visit - Petra Hotel

  • After breakfast, check out.

  • Driving southwards and enjoy the scenic views of Dana.

  • In Shobak, visit an ancient crusader castle perched on the side of a rocky, conical mountain.

  • Continue to the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria.

  • With the help of a proficient tourist guide, pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury.

  • Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle.

  • Bid farewell to the guide at the restaurant area; utilize the free time to explore Petra on your own, before walking the same way back to the entrance.

  • Overnight in Petra.

DAY 03

Petra Hotel - Wadi Rum Jeep ride - Amman Hotel

  • Head for breakfast, checkout and drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world.

  • Explore the area by a jeep ride to see rugged mountains, canyons, sand dunes and rock inscriptions from Thamudic and Nabatean period.

  • Transfer to Amman, check in and overnight.

DAY 04

Amman Hotel - Ajloun - Jerash - Amman Airport

  • After a heart breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ajloun to visit the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din.

  • Next is to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East.

  • Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.

  • According to the departure time, we will drive to Amman airport so you can board your flight.
