In the first part of this tour, you will walk through the best-preserved Roman ruins in the Middle East at Jerash, described by UNESCO as "an ancient meeting place of the West and the East". You will also see the imposing, medieval Ajloun Castle of the Sultan Saladin, which is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan.

Visit the Roman ruins at Jerash. We will spend half a day there, walking through the remnants of the city.
Then, drive for 25 minutes to the medieval Ajloun Castle of Saladin. Here, we will explore the architecture of the military castle built as a lookout during the Crusades.
We will then head back to Amman.
