Description

Enter Petra through a long narrow gorge called Siq, pay a visit to temples, theatres, and churches in Jerash, and see Mount Nebo in the south of Amman. Drive to Madaba, also known as the "mosaic city", and stop by St. George's Church before swimming in the waters of the Dead Sea.

    • Upon arrival at Queen Alia International airport, meet our driver. Head to your hotel in Amman.

    Overnight in Amman

  • Day 2 : Amman - Petra - Amman expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive to visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, carved in stone more than 2000 years ago.
    • Enter the city through a 1km long narrow gorge called Siq, which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colours and formations of the rocks, which leads directly to the Khazneh.

    Return to Amman for overnight

  • Day 3 : Amman - Jerash - Mount Nebo - Madaba - Dead Sea - Amman expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive to the fascinating Greco-Roman city of Jerash visit, original temples, theatres, plazas, paths and collonaded streets, amphitheatres, churches and the vast Roman Forum.
    • Continue to the south of Amman to visit Mt. Nebo, a city mentioned in the Bible where Moses was granted a view of the promised land that he would never enter. 
    • Next, visit Madaba, a city known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, especially a large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the Holy Land, the famous 6th century Mosaic map.
    • Visit St. George’s Church, now a Greek Orthodox basilica, home of the enormous Madaba Mosaic Map. Then drive to the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea. Enjoy swimming in the buoyant waters and get covered in mud. 
    • Return to Amman for an overnight stay.
  • Day 4: Departure expand_more
    • Have breakfast and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.

Know before you go
  • These are the significant points and facts that the Travelers need to be aware of, so kindly have the time to read this before you leave your country to Jordan. It is essential to be mindful of this:
    • In Petra, an English-speaking local private guide is available for 2-3 hours and covers the lower parts of Petra. Afterwards, you can explore more sites such as Royal Tombs or Monastery by yourself. A horse ride from the Visitor’s Center to the Siq (800 m) is included in the entrance ticket to Petra, so if you wish, you can take it. Usually, you are requested to pay a tip for the man leading the horse.
    • Visa to Jordan is available for most nationalities upon arrival, and it costs 40 JD = $57.00 per person.
