Start at the Harpa Concert Hall from where participants will be picked up.
Drive on a beautifully scenic 40km route to Eyrarkot in Kjós.
Meet up with the Priestess, the respected Icelandic volva and runemaster Jóhanna Harðardóttir, who will welcome you at a cute country-inn in charming Kjós, a little under a half an hour drive from Reykjavík.
Relish the traditional winter soup and bread along with spoonfuls from Jóhanna´s deep well of wisdom on the origin and meaning of the runes and how they connect with the elements.
In a little workshop, she will show you how you can make your own set of rules and give you the basics in using and reading them. The workshop concludes with a personal reading by the völva for all participants.
Look out for Northern Lights on the way back and stop to enjoy them if they make an appearance, so dress well in case!
