Jorge Jerez was our tour guide for a 2-day stay in San Pedro de Atacama, which was part of our 10-day visit to Chile in January-February 2019. I can honestly say that the two days that Jorge spent taking us around the San Pedro area were the highlight of our Chile trip. We rented our own car, and Jorge accompanied us everywhere during the two days we spent there. His attention to detail, his professionalism, his deep knowledge of the area, and his overall friendliness and care all contributed to make our experience a wonderful one. He started by visiting us the night we arrived in order to brief us on the details of the next two days, to ensure that we were prepared with the appropriate gear (hats, sunscreen, swimming costumes, etc.) and knew what to expect for each day. He suggested an itinerary that incorporated all the places we wished to visit (including places such as Moon Valley, Mars Valley, Piedras Rojas, Laguna Chaxa, Lagunas Miscanti and Miñiques, etc.), as well as some places that we would never have seen on our own (including a private lagoon where we could float in the salty water in complete privacy!). He was very flexible and was more than willing to adjust the itinerary as needed on the fly to accommodate our wishes. He took care of everything, including recommending places to eat meals, places to buy hats and sunscreen, etc. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and made our trip so much more enjoyable thanks to his detailed commentary about all the places of interest. I cannot praise him enough and will recommend him to everyone I know who is going to visit the area!

George is a knoladgeble, reliable guide.  His English is good. We spend the whole day with him. He was attentive to our needs. Highly recommended.
