We are a family of four and had some doubts whether it would be a good idea to go on safari. Especially Botswana is know for its wildlife as it is supposed to be..no fences no artificial waterholes or floodlights... Pure bush and close encounters with real animals (without collars) in their natural habitat.

And if we enjoyed it! Steve is a first class guide, driver and entertainer.

Those who think they can drive themselves are wrong...if you don't get stuck in the deep sand you will definitely miss a lot of animals. 

For our girls (8 and 10) it was an unbelievable experience, for us, as concerned parents, it was such a relief to have someone who is extremely well aware of the dangers.

I have travelled with Steve Matija four times, and each time has been a wonderful experience. Steve is very knowledgeable; I have learned a lot from him about Botswana's wild life and culture. He is very careful and attentive to his clients' safety and well-being. And he has a great sense of humor and makes sure that his clients have fun. We laughed a lot, and each day was unforgettable. In summary, I recommend Steve whole-heartedly.
