Simon was our guide around a crater lake near Fort Portal.  He was very professional, full of information about birds and wildlife.  He know about argriculture and we felt that we learned a great deal from Simon.  He had a good sense of humour and was very personable from the moment we started the tour right through to the end of the tour. We recommend him highly, as guide, educator and person.

Simon acted as a guide for my wife and i for a days walking around the crater lakes area near Fort Portal. We had a great day with him. He was obviously very knowledgeable of the area including of the different types of wildlife that we came across. This in itself was enough to think it was a good day, but what really stood out for us was the companionship. He had a great sense of humour and we really enjoyed the time with him. We both felt we learnt more about Uganda and it's people in those few hours with him than we did for the whole of our 10 day trip. We were also fortunate enough to have a great meal cooked by his wife included in the package which just topped off the day for us - if you get the chance to have this, take it! I can only offer words of praise for Simon and can strongly recommend him for anyone wanting to discover a bit more of this great country.
