Enjoyed my 1st trip to Pekanbaru and Harau Valley. David brought us to eat a lot of local food, a bit too cold for my preferences but the food taste nice. He is quite adaptive to our request like bringing us to eat durian, etc. A bit tortourous is the 10hrs car drive to/fro Pekanbaru and Harau Valley. Nothing much to do in Harau Valley but enjoyed the lay back and relaxing moment compared to the hectic life I have in Singapore (but 1 night should be enough else I will be bored). A nice place to relax and will definitely be back again. 

David arranged a very memorable trip for me.  He was able to take my requests and add in his expert advice to bring together a nice itinerary. With direct flights from Singapore to Pekanbaru,  I wanted to start in Pekanbaru and go to Harau Valley. He was able to coordinate a really nice two day tour and to accommodate my unique requests. He is very responsive, well organized, and a clear communicator. He and his staff frequently checked in with me throughout the trip to see how things were going. They were very thoughtful and paid close attention to details, including  figuring out how to find vegetarian places where I could eat. David was knowledgeable and brought a positive energy that made it easy to become enchanted with this part of Sumatra. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can return to do another tour with David in the future.

First time i met David was in bukit lawang. I was there for the second time and i enjoyed that place very much. David has a lot of knowledges about indonesia and been to a lot of places to search for beautiful spots. He can show you how beautiful Indonesia is!
