We hired Antu at the recommendation of a fellow traveler that we met in Ethopia. We followed their advice, and I am very glad we did. Now it's my turn to recommend Antu Korra. Antu knows the Omo Valley very well, having been born and raised in the area. But more than that, what I liked about him was his honesty and his sense of humor. From my experience, you can trust him, and he's fun to travel with. He is easy going, and will accommodate you with whatever travel plans you have and whatever budget you have in mind. If you want to see the Omo Tribal Area you will need a guide and Antu delivers. He has connections throughout the whole area. He has excellent knowledge of the tribes and their customs. You can trust him, he told us what the costs would be and never tried to change them. One morning he was calling around and found out there was a Hamer Bull Jumping Ceremony several hours outside of Turmi so we changed our schedule to go. None of the other guides knew it was going on. It Was Awesome.
