I have travelled all over the world and rarely get a tour guide like Sisay.  He is knowledgeable, fluent in English and local languages and knows history. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again I gave him an A+.

Best guide ever. He will take your trip to the next level. We had a tight schedule and he managed to organize a great trip and didn't miss anything important. He will lead you to places others will not and explain you things and local stuff others simply do not know. Great guy, fun, responsible  and cares for his guest.  100% recommendable!

Sissay is one of the best guides I have ever encountered. I saw and met many guides on my travels but none of them was as sensitive, attentive and correct as Sisi. Modestly and without trying to impress you with fake plays, Sissy sweeps you off your feet. Cheaply, with full security and responsibility. Although I was unable to tour with Sisay because one of my daughters was sick, Sisay kept in touch and was willing to modify our plans. He also sent me a text and was genuinely more concerned with my daughter's health than getting the job as my guide. I really appreciated him and he made me feel at ease eventhough we had spent time communicating and organizing before I got to Ethiopia and was concerned that I had wasted his time. A true gentleman. Next time I go to Ethiopia I will plan to visit some wildlife with Sisay as my guide! Thank you and we shall meet Igzhiabir fekad! Kevin.

On a recent trip to Southern Ethiopia myself and 5 friends spent 2 days being shown around by Sisay from Seaside Tours. He was a wealth of knowledge and went out of his way to make our experience an unforgettable one. We visited Dorze Village, where we saw the traditional woven elephant huts, and sampled banana bread and schnapps. It was wonderful to get a snapshot of village life. We went out on a boat on Lake Chamo and saw hippos wallowing in the shallows and crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks of the river. We witnessed the locals being baptised in the river during Timket, an Ethiopian Orthodox celebration of Epiphany. Sisay's knowledge of the area was extensive. Although we had only a short amount of time, he managed to show us so much. His English is excellent and he had a great sense of humour. He helped us to find beautiful accommodation in Arba Minch and took us to the best places to eat. Sisay was a fantastic guide who knows his stuff. We were only sorry we didn't have longer to explore this beautiful region. We can highly recommend Sisay Assefa as a guide for anyone wanting to experience the real Ethiopia.  Thanks so much Sisay. We will be back one day and hope to see you again.
