Desiree (Desi) is a fantastic guide and I put my complete trust in her and was not let down. Everything ran very smoothly and she was very easy to get along with, funny and very knowledgeable. I was 68 and not too good with heights, but she got me safely over the 4 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu without any dramas. I lost my fear of heights as a bonus! Desiree was our guide for our 11 day trip to Lima and Cusco earlier this year and I can highly recommend her. Desiree was knowledgeable about the local area, was able to advise on where to change money, good restaurants to go to, where to buy local products and advise on local tours to take. This sometimes involved being up in the early hours of the morning or late at night to ensure our boarding passes were printed and that we were safely up in time to meet taxis to take us to the airport. One of the younger members of our tour group needed a vaccination and Desiree accompanied her to the local hospital to arrnage this. In short, Desiree took all the stress and hassle out of the organisation part of an overseas trip to a new country.
