My name is Lyubov. I'm 22 years old and I'm from Moscow (Russia). I was going to travel in Highland (Scotland): Inverness, Caingorms, Fort William, Portree, Isle of Skye. I booked a personal tour on 7th August 2014: Loch Ness area and Urquhart Castle, Inverness and around. Now Marina calls this tour "3 in !":) The weather was sunny so I was lucky as Marina said. It was a great idea to take the first boat for the Loch Ness trip. Marina correctly picked the time when there are not the large number of tourists. I took a great photos of nature, the lake and the castle from the top of the deck. Then there was a wonderful tour in the castle and its surroundings. Then we went to the Scottish gardens where we had a scack just in time and I took more photos of Loch Ness. Next was Inverness itself. I liked bus sightseeing trip in spite of rain. We visited many churches, old houses, covered with legends and Inverness Castle. Marina told about each of them great historical events. Next was shopping. Souvenirs in the city centre of course expensive but Marina knows a place where you can buy the same quality goods but much cheaper. We could manage very quickly because my next day goal was mountaineering in Cairngorms. So after 5 p.m. the same day 7th August 2014 we had extra trip to Chanonry Point. Once we had a snack in a nice café we went to the Cathedral. The gates were opened and we could look around without anybody else. I love ancient graves and stones and was very impressed there. Marina told some interesting stories about this place. I remember a story about wife of Wolf of Badenoch who has the grave there. Very cruel times! We hadn't opportunity to visit the Fairy Glen because no time but I could see a wild dolphin flipper and seal. So I was very happy because that! We spent there more than two hours because is was nice sun set, no wind and beautiful view to Fort George. Hope I didn't mix any names. I am a little bit upset that I didn't see witch stone there. It was quite dark. Next time I will plan my tour more carefully. But it was my first trip in Scotland! Hope to come again! Marina could share with me her passion for Highlands and exactly it was a great idea to book a personal tour. In conclusion I want to say: Marina is very sincere person. She told me very interesting facts about sights, events and Scots, gave very useful advices for local food and souvenirs. She knows where you can buy cheap and high quality goods. It seems she loves her job and try to share her passion for Scotland with people.
