There are not enough words to describe my experience with Ei Ei. I’ve traveled to over 30 different countries and have never encountered a guide as exceptional as Ei. She accompanied me (a solo traveler) over a 10 day journey through Mandalay, Bagan, Inle Lake, and Yangon. She curated a custom itinerary for me through each of the cities and really helped me to see the country through her eyes. Ei took me to places that are not on maps or travel blogs. She introduced me to her family / friends and even took me to her home. She explained the history of her country and her vision its future. She taught me to travel as a local (e-bikes, buses, taxis) and introduced me to a variety of local foods (keeping my vegetarian diet in mind). She took me to countless temples, explained the Buddhist rituals, and taught me how to pray and meditate. She bargained for me in the markets and critiqued my clothing purchases. She revealed her hidden talent as a photographer and helped to capture breathtaking visuals for me to remember my trip (and increase my Instagram followers). Even when she was not feeling well, she continued with our plans per schedule so that I wouldn’t miss anything. Ei has an inner joy and resilience that cuts through the country’s complicated past and unstable present. Everything that she is doing for the orphans, for the community, for the people, and for the country is so commendable. Ei took care of me as if I was her own brother and I will never forget that. I will always cherish my visit to Myanmar and a major part of my positive experience is due to Ei's warm hospitality. I hope that Ei continues to always laugh and inspire people.

Do not miss the opportunity to meet Ei you’re in Bagan. I am going to tell all my friends about her! JEZUBA EI!!!
