DAY 01

amman airport- amman city tour

  • Meet the driver upon your arrival at the Airport in Amman.

  • Visit the 2nd-century Roman Theatre, which is magnificently restored. It has a seating capacity of 6000 and concerts are sometimes put on here during summer.

  • Return to the hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 02

amman- madaba- nebo- dead sea- petra

  • Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and drive to Madaba (Mosaic City) after that.

  • Drive 10 km uphill from Madaba to reach Mount Nebo, which is a very important Christian site. It was recently visited by the Pope.

  • Shop for souvenirs in Madaba.

  • Drive to the Dead Sea- the lowest point on earth located 400 metres below sea level.

  • Float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, take a therapeutic black mud massage or just relax around the swimming pool with a drink.

  • Transfer along the King's highway to Petra.

  • Make a stop at Dana view to see the sunset.

  • Continue driving to Petra and stay overnight in a hotel there.

DAY 03

petra (full day)- departure

  • Take a full-day tour of Petra- the rose-red city- with our Petra tour guide.

  • Visit the Treasury (El-Khazneh), which has an intricately carved Hellenistic facade that glows in the sun. At one time, local people believed that it contained hidden treasure. However, the most recent excavation unearthed a graveyard beneath the treasury.

  • Proceed to see The Amphitheatre, which was carved in the mountainside during the first century. It can accommodate a maximum of 8,500 people and is located at the foot of the High Place of Sacrifice.

  • Visit The Royal Tombs- a series of seven large mausoleums with an impressive facade. See the Urn Tomb (the biggest in Petra), Corinthian Tomb (showcases Corinthian column designs of ancient Greek and Roman architecture), Palace Tomb (resembles a Roman Palace) and Silk Tomb (most naturally coloured), which are more popular than the remaining 3 tombs.

  • Transfer to Amman for departure.

  • Meet and assist at the airport.

  • English-speaking experienced driver.
