    • Proceed to the Red Fort in Delhi, a historic fort built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shahjahan and served as the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. Every year on the 15 August, the Independence Day of India, the Prime Minister hoists the Indian flag at the main gate of the fort and delivers a nationally broadcasted speech from its ramparts. 

    • Head towards Raj Ghat, a crimination site and memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. All major dignitaries of the world ensure to visit this memorial to pay their respect and homage by the reads of flowers and garlands.

    • Visit India Gate, one of the largest first world war memorial in Delhi. It was built by the British and designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.

    • Reach the President's House for photography (from outside).

    • Pay your respects at Gurudwara Bangla Saheb, one of the prominent Sikh house of worship in Delhi and the temple of their 8th Sikh guru, which is instantly recognizable by its golden tomb and a tall flag pole called Nisan Saheb (a major attraction in Delhi).

    • Explore Gandhi Smriti or Gandhi's home; the assassination place of Mahatma Gandhi, where he had spent the last 144 days of his life (closed on every Monday).

    • Continue to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick tower in the world. It was built by Qutb ud Din Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate in 1192. It is a UNESCO world heritage site in Delhi (most popular tourist destination in India).

    • Enter the Lotus Temple, a house of worship in Delhi. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. The Lotus Temple has won numerous architectural awards and has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles (closed every Monday).
