Undertake a thrilling experience of observing the wildlife in its natural habitat in the tour covering the Nameri National Park, Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary, and Kaziranga National Park.

DAY 01

Guwahati - Nameri National Park

  • Arrive in Guwahati by air. 

  • Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Nameri National Park and check into Eco-Camp near the Assam- Arunachal Pradesh border. (Eco camp has comfortable double bedded tents with a thatched roof canopy). 

  • In the afternoon, trek near to the camp / outside Nameri National Park if time permits. Wildlife found in the region: deer, wild elephant, wild buffaloes and numerous species of birds. 

  • Have dinner and overnight at Eco-camp.

(Drive 250 km /6 hrs)

DAY 02

Nameri National Park

  • Early in the morning, go for birding on foot inside the park with packed breakfast. 

  • Come back and have lunch.

  • Go for another afternoon birding session inside the park. 

  • Have dinner and overnight at Nameri.

DAY 03

Nameri- Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary

  • After breakfast, drive to Eagle Nest camp. 

  • On arrival, check-in at Lama camp 2350 msl (Tent type accommodation).

  • After lunch, go for birding around the camp.

  • Have dinner and overnight at Lama Camp.

(Drive 142 km /5 hr)

DAY 04

Eagle Nest

  • Spend the whole day birding inside the park.  

  • Have dinner and overnight.

DAY 05

Eagle Nest

  • Spend the whole day on the roadside, birding on foot inside the park. To avoid any discomfort, your vehicle will be kept handy. 

  • Overnight at Lama camp 2350msl.

DAY 06

Eagle Nest

  • Spend the whole day birding among different vegetation through 2350 – 2465 mean sea level of the park. 

  • Overnight at Sunderview.

DAY 07

Eagle Nest

  • Enjoy birding for the whole day through 1500 – 1250 msl of the park. 

  • Overnight at Sunderview 1940 msl.

DAY 08

Eagle Nest – Kaziranga National Park

  • After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park. 

  • Have lunch on the route. 

  • Spend the evening at leisure.

  • Overnight at Kaziranga.

(Drive 240 km/6 hr)

DAY 09


  • After breakfast, go for a jeep safari inside the park. 

  • Come back and have an afternoon jeep safari to Kaziranga National Park. This World Heritage site covers an area of 430 sq km.

DAY 10


  • Have an early morning elephant ride with two jeep safari to the Eastern range of the park. 

  • Overnight at Kaziranga.

DAY 11


  • Enjoy one elephant ride and two jeep safari to a different range of the park. 

  • Overnight at Kaziranga.


DAY 12


  • After breakfast, ride back to Guwahati. 

  • Have lunch on the route.

  • Visit the Greater adjutant roosting site at Guwahati. 

  • Check in at a Hotel.

  • Spend the evening at leisure or visit a souvenir shop.

  • Overnight at Guwahati.

DAY 13


  • Post breakfast, prepare for departure.

  • Transfer to the Airport for onward journey.

  • Eagle Nest is famous for its rich bird’s diversity. Eagle Nest ranges from 500 meters (1,640 ft) to 3,250 meters (10,663 ft) above sea level and covers an area of 218 Over 700 species of birds are known from a 100 kilometers region centered on Eaglenest.

  • Vegetation Type: Lowland evergreen forest, broad-leaved forest, bamboo, conifers; roadside scrub and farmland - all these in both subtropical and temperate latitudes.

  • Speciality Birds: Rufous-bellied hawk-eagle, northern goshawk, pied falconet, common hill-partridge, Temminck's tragopan, ashy wood-pigeon, tawny Wood-owl, Rufous-necked hornbill, Ward's Trogon, golden-throated Barbet, crimson-breasted pied-woodpecker, bay woodpecker, Pale-headed Woodpecker, Grey-chinned Minivet, Rufous-bellied bulbul, maroon-backed accentor, eye-browed thrush, fea's thrush, Gould's Shortwing, White-browed Shortwing,  Blue-fronted Robin, little forktail, golden bush-robin, Rufous-breasted bush-robin, Purple Cochoa, grey-sided laughing-thrush, scaly laughing-thrush, black-faced laughing-thrush, red-faced liocichla, coral-billed scimitar-babbler, slender-billed scimitar-babbler, 6 wren-babblers (wedge-billed, bar-winged, pygmy, spotted, rufous-throated and scaly-breasted), gold-headed babbler, cutia, rufous-bellied shrike-babbler, green shrike-babbler, white-hooded babbler, red-tailed minla, 6 tit-babblers/fulvettas (incl. golden-breasted, brown-throated, and yellow-throated), 3 sibias (incl beautiful, and rufous-backed), 5 yuhinas (incl. black-chinned, rufous-vented and white-naped),  fire-tailed myzornis, 6 parrotbills (greater and lesser rufous-headed, brown, grey-headed and fulvous-fronted), mountain tailorbird, 3 tesias (chestnut-headed, grey-bellied and slaty-bellied), 8 flycatcher-warblers (incl. broad-billed, white-spectacled, chestnut-crowned and black-faced), 4 niltavas (incl. vivid and large),  13 flycatchers (incl. white-gorgeted), rufous-bellied and grey-crested tits,  sultan tit, beautiful nuthatch, wallcreeper, brown-throated treecreeper, yellow-bellied flowerpecker, mrs gould's and fire-tailed sunbird, gold-naped black-finch, beavan's bullfinch, brown bullfinch.

  • The terrain of the park is situated on the floodplain of river Brahmaputra River famous for its big 5– world’s largest population of one-horned Rhino, Wild Asiatic Water Buffalo, Swamp Deer, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Asiatic Elephant. Apart from these five, Kaziranga contains a significant breeding population of 35 mammalian species of which 15 are threatened as per the IUCN red list. At the same time, the park supports rich and varied bird life, a birdwatcher’s paradise and home to 25 globally threatened and 21 near-threatened birds. So far, 490 birds species have been recorded including a large variety of migratory birds.
