    • Travel to Amer Fort, the old capital of the Kachhwahas, stands atop a range of craggy hills. The fort is remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. 
    • Visit Jal Mahal, a small palace set right in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, on the way to Amer. 
    • Jaigarh Fort, standing on a hilltop, the world biggest cannon on wheels- the Jai Ban is positioned here.
    • Check out the majestic Nahargarh Fort, located on a hill about 600 ft. above the city. The fort was built in 1734. The walls of the fort run along the ridge, and within are architectural beauties like Hawa Mandir and Madhvendra Bhawan. 
    • Explore the City Palace, situated in the heart of the old city; it occupies about one-seventh of the old city area. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture; it houses a seven-storied Chandra Mahal in the center, which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city, and then visit the adjoining Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum.  
    • Visit the famous Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The massive masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. 
    • Travel to Hawa Mahal, also known as "The Palace of Winds" or "The Palace of Breeze". Built from red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace. It is famous because of its unique architecture that includes 953 windows or jharokhas that are beautifully incorporated in the honeycomb design of this palace.
