3 Days Trekking tour itinerary for Dimapur, Guwahati & Kohima: Hike On The Trails Of Mesmerizing Valleys To Dzukou

Trek to the peak of Dzukou valley which is situated at an altitude of 2438 metres above sea level in Nagaland behind the Zapfu Hills. Dzukou valley is a dream destination for the diehard trekkers and a place known as the heavenly abode covered with rhododendrons of different colours and rare Dzukou Lily.
Guwahati to Kigwema
Arrival at Dimapur Airport in Nagaland.
Transfer to Kigwema Village via Kohima covering a distance 85 kms in 4 hrs. Kigwema is a large village in Nagaland situated at the altitude of 156 meters above msl and mostly inhabited by the Angami Tribes of Nagaland. If reaches early in the evening tourists can visit the village to explore the Angami lifestyles.
Trekking at Dzokou
Activity starts early in the morning by 5.00 AM.
Tourists/Trekkers will reach Viswema Village by 5.30 in the morning. Viswema is a pristine hilly area at a distance of 15 kms from Kigwema inhabited by the Angami tribal people.
Then trekkers will be taken to Viswema Trekking point in the foot hill to explore magnificent Dzukou Valley at a distance of 4 km from the village and overlooking the beautiful Dzukou Valley, after climbing for around 50 minutes trekkers will reach the Dzukou peak.
Afterwards from Dzukou pick the valley can be explored by trekking around 3-4 hrs.The valley that boasts the wild fauna, mesmerizing streams, natural caves and rocks formations.
Overnight stay at
Kigwema to Guwahati
Transfer from Dzokou valley to Dimapur Airport or to Guwahati via Kohima for departure.
Depending on time we may experience community tour to nearby Tribal villages.
