Tel Aviv - Old jaffa

  • Walk and learn about the highlights of the city with your Israeli tour guide.   • Explore Old Jaffa in a casual walking tour. Jaffa is an ancient city believed to be one of the oldest in the world. Jaffa has been incorporated with Tel Aviv creating the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo. Jaffa is mentioned in the Old & New Testament. Jona, King Salomon, St. Peter's resurrection of the widow Tabitha from Acts 9:36-42 takes place in Jaffa.

  • Make our way to Caesarea, the ancient Roman city that became the centre of Early Christianity in Israel. Early Christian mentions of Caesarea in the apostolic period follow the acts of Peter who established the church there when he baptized Cornelius the Centurion (Acts, 10, 11). The Apostle Paul often sojourned there (9:30; 18:22; 21:8) and was imprisoned at Caesarea.
