Join us for an exciting folklore show and then come aboard a cruise ship to enjoy a delicious buffet meal of traditional Hungarian fare and international favorites. Enjoy the wonderful view of the illuminated capital city and the romantic atmosphere. There are not many countries beside Hungary, where the art of folk-dancing is at such a high artistic level. The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble, the Danube Folk Ensemble and Hungaria Folk Ensemble & Orchestra are three of the best professional Hungarian folk ensembles with the longest tradition, who performs all around the country and abroad. Feel the romantic atmosphere of Budapest and enjoy excellent warm buffet-dinner.

    Meeting time and place: 19:30 in Danube Palace or Budai Vigado. We will inform you about the venue.

    • 19:45: Hostesses escort you to your seats in the theatre. Every concert starts at 20.00 and consists of two parts, 40-45 minutes each, plus an intermission.

    • 20:00: The first half of the performance begins.

    • 20:45: Intermission – you can have a drink at the bar, DVDs of the performing group will be available for purchase from our staff, as well as Hungarian souvenirs.

    • 21:00: The second half of the performance begins.

    • 21:45: The end of the performance, hostesses will escort you to the ship. The cruise starts at 22:00, but always waits for the guests from the theatre. 

    • 22:00: Boarding and departure - You will be offered a welcome drink upon boarding. The buffet dinner will be served when everyone boards the ship. The meals are prepared by European, and world champion food sculptor, Attila Tanács, who is a true artist. He adds a creative touch to the already outstanding Hungarian and international cuisine served on our ships, placing emphasis on the harmony of colour and form.
