Explore an ancient wine cave system, one of the largest labyrinth wine cellar of the world in a village. Learn all about wine culture and champagne making, and taste quality wines including Tokaji Aszú and other wines (7 wines- white, rose, red). Take an easy stroll around the old village seeing mansions and castles of wine producers from the golden times of the area. Walk around romantic narrow streets where many original houses of the first settlers still standing. During our walk you will get an impression of this wine district before we enter the cellar labyrinth that lies below our feet.

  • This amazing 40 km long wine cellar labyrinth, carved deep into a limestone hill hides many old oak cask with beautiful wood carving decoration and other interesting wine relics. It has been a constantly working wine cellar for more than 300 years, aging wines from different Hungarian wine regions. Wine making was practiced here already during the Roman times. The village is a proud holder of the international "town of wine and champagne" title.  

  • We also offer wine dinners with specialty Hungarian dishes for groups.
