Plan a trip to this Hungarian Royal Castle and learn all about its history and see the remains of the Lower Castle. You will also visit a beautiful spa on the hill, that promises scenic views of the Danube Bend and delicious Hungarian cuisine over lunch.

DAY 01

Budapest to VISEGRÁD

  • Pick-up at your hotel in Budapest,  at 10 am and travel by Car to Visegrád. If you have a bigger budget, then you can travel on a cruise ship also from Budapest. 

  • Continue the journey by ferry with your Visegrad tour guide, because you have to go to the other side of the river to see this wonderful castle. 

  • But before going up to the castle, you'll get to know the history of this Royal Town.

  • Have a delicious Hungarian lunch + (Palinka).

  • After lunch, continue the journey by minibus to get to the top of Castle Hill. Here you will see the Royal Castle and its wonderful panorama with the Danube Bend.

  • Visit the most beautiful spa in Visegrád, where you are likely to spend 2 -3 hours with the most beautiful panorama of the Danube bend.

  • After a pleasant drink, get back to Budapest at about 6 pm.

  • It's the fastest and cheapest to travel by train in Hungary. International trains all stop at this location and are convenient and fast.  By train, it'll take 50 minutes.

After the coronation ceremony, besides the Hungarian Holy Crown, the Crown Guard guarded the Polish Crown in the treasury of the Citadel. 

  • The city was under the rule of King Matthias during his next light age. The King began to build large-scale buildings and renovations: an ensemble of late Gothic details enriched with the remnants of the museum, which you can still see. In the Renaissance courtyard, significant personalities of the age turned, and philosophy, philosophy, literature, philosophies, and arts were at the forefront. Those who arrived far from the earth described Visegrád as "earthly paradise."
