Swahili Cooking Class
- Visit a local cook and learn how to prepare a meal the Swahili way. This class not only gives you a hands-on lesson about traditional Tanzanian food, but it also gives you a chance to sit and mingle with local families. Your patronage goes directly back to the local community while making new international friends and immersing yourself into the culture while learning, eating, tasting and enjoying. This can be your lunch or your dinner. The fee includes picking up and dropping off from/to an agreed-upon location (within Dar Es Salaam city boundaries). Once we agree on a pick-up time, our driver will take you to the selected location for your Swahili cooking experience. An English-speaking representative will be with you all along the way, from the beginning to the end.
