Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Ndutu Area

   • Begin the journey after breakfast by driving to the Ndutu region.

   • Embark on a full-day game drive across the southern Serengeti ecosystem.

   • Explore the Lake Ndutu area, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where short-grass plains host vast herds during the migration season.

   • Witness wildebeests, elephants, birds, and various resident wildlife between December and April.

   • Continue wildlife viewing until late afternoon.

   • Drive to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.

   Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
   Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Camp or similar

2. Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Ndutu

   • Wake up early and set out for a morning game drive.

   • Track the migration herds and observe predators such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs.

   • Return to camp for a hot lunch and a short rest.

   • Head back out for an afternoon game drive through different parts of the ecosystem.

   • Learn from your guide about the Great Migration and the dynamics of the savannah.

   • Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Depart early after breakfast and drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Descend into the crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.

   • Spot a wide range of wildlife including the Big Five, hippos, flamingoes, jackals, and endangered black rhinos.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool inside the crater.

   • Begin the return drive to Arusha in the late afternoon.

   • Arrive in Arusha by evening. Accommodation in Arusha is not included.
