Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, start a drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and photographing.

   • Observe the diverse wildlife, including the large population of elephants for which the park is famous, as well as various species of birds and other animals.

   • Explore the unique vegetation such as giant Baobab trees and Acacia trees.

   • Have lunch inside the park during the game drive.

   • In the late afternoon, drive to a lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

   • After breakfast at the lodge in Mto wa Mbu, depart for Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Explore the largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located approximately 180 kilometers west of Arusha.

   • Spend up to six hours inside the crater, enjoying wildlife viewing with the opportunity to see the Big Five animals.

   • Have lunch inside the crater with a packed lunch box.

   • After the game drive, return to the lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

   • After breakfast at the lodge in Mto wa Mbu, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and photographing.

   • Observe the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and the soda ash lake that attracts pink flamingos.

   • Have lunch inside the park with a packed lunch box.

   • After the game drive, return to Arusha for the end of the safari.
