Itinerary

1. Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

   • Depart from Dar es Salaam early in the morning in a private van to Mikumi National Park. This will be a 5-hour drive with a stopover for lunch.

   • On arrival, immediately transfer to the park for the late afternoon game drive. The park boasts a rich variety of bird species as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants.

   • Also, spot zebras, lions, wild dogs, pythons, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephants, impala, warthog, eland and antelope.

   Overnight stay at the lodge on a full-board basis.

2. Day 2: Full Day in Mikumi

   • Have a full day for game drive in Mikumi National Park. It is actually a part of the Selous ecosystem and benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. Keep you eyes open and cameras on for you might spot some rare birds and animals, giving you the best moments to capture.

   • After a full day game drive, return to the lodge for an overnight stay at the lodge on full-board basis.

3. Day 3: Udzungwa Mountain to Dar es Salaam

   • Have a full day walking safari to experience Masai culture life and visit the Udzungwa Waterfall.

   • Also, visit the Uluguru Mountain and see different kinds of crops and spices like cardamom, strawberry and more.

   • Return to Dar es Salaam.
