About me
My name is Djordje and I live in Pancevo, Serbia, near Belgrade.I'm 37 years old.I have been working as a licensed guide since 3 years ago.I also have a international experience from working as representative during summer season in Rodos ( Greece), Alanya, Bodrum (Turkey).During the year, I often guide in north of Italy (Venice, Verona, Padova, Florence, San Marino, Pisa), and all over Balkans especially Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Sarajevo, Visegrad … Big nature lover and like to communicate with people, which helped me to decide to combine and use my skills for my professional work. I obtain a licence for Rafting on wild water since 5 years ago.My family has a house on mountain Tara in central Serbia, national park of outstanding beauty, cultural, natural and biological diversity. I go hiking and trekking there on my free time, but also renting for tourist and group.Combining activities such as hiking, trekking, rafting, bird watching, horse riding, history and heritage, cultural tourism seasoned with nightlife and famous Serbian cuisine are official agenda for my tourists.Unfortunately, my country Serbia is not so exploited enough as a tourist destination, but if you know where to go and what to look for, can be unforgettable lifelong experience! Lots of clean, cold rivers and colorful mountains with hidden monasteries unique in their architecture, frescoes and icons, and local people always ready to welcome guests of good will with a smile. My origin is from one of those beautiful mountains, near Novi Pazar, southwest Serbia, where you can found oldest church in Serbia (IX century).Cultural heritage dating from neolit such as Vinca and Lepenski vir, oldest human settlements in Europe are focus of attention for tourists and historian and art experts alike. The cultural route of the Roman Emperors reveals ancient Roman towns, roads, ruins and artefacts, Viminacium, Nisus, Sirmium, Singidunum.among which Felix Romuliana , included by UNESCO on the World Heritage list. I'm not ordinary guide, but doing my best to feed hungry appetite of travelers and explorers.
