Description

Visit the ancient city of Luang Prabang where the old, colonial French left their own architecture in this town. Small enough to explore on foot, the town reveals its charm and history at every turn, with gilded temples on nearly every corner and saffron-robed monks strolling the quiet streets. Nested in the mountains at the confluence of the Mekong and Khan Rivers, this former royal capital is one of the delightful towns in all of Asia. This tour will be a walk through the times - from ancient to medieval to modern.
