Description

The migration undertaken by the wildebeest is an annual event that sees over a million wildebeests accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebras and numerous other antelope species as they search for greener pastures. We will set off on this trip from Nairobi National Park on this dangerous journey fraught with many predators such as lions, cheetahs and crocodiles preying on the animals

  • DAY 1 : Nairobi National Park - Naivasha expand_more
    • Pick up from the hotel of residence or airport then head to the Nairobi National Park by 0730hrs -1130hrs 
    • Drive to the Carnivore Simba Saloon for lunch until 1330hrs. Then depart to Naivasha in Nakuru county via the Mai Mahiu road. A short stopover will be made at the Rift Valley viewpoint along the Mai Mahiu road for photography. 
    • Do a boat along the Crescent Island spotting birds and wild animals on the island and later check-in at Simba hotel in Naivasha for dinner and sleepover.
  • DAY 2 - Maasai Mara National Reserve expand_more
    • Early breakfast by 0700hrs, then check out of the hotel and head towards Maasai Mara National Reserve where you will check-in for lunch at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge. 
    • Take a short afternoon rest before having an evening game drive from 1630hrs-1800hrs. Later check-in for dinner and sleepover in the same lodge.
  • DAY 3 : Maasai Mara National Reserve expand_more
    • Early breakfast by 0700hrs, then leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunch until 1700hrs. Other activities like a visit to the Maasai community and balloon safaris will be available at a fee by the respective managements with the help of our guide.
  • DAY 4 : Return to Nairobi expand_more
    • Breakfast then check out by 0900hrs. Back to Nairobi at specific drop off places of choice.
