DAY 02
Lximche - antigua guatemala
In the morning, explore this incredible city with an expert Antigua Guatemala guide. Witness the influence of Roman Catholics on your visits to Santa Catalina Arch, Antigua Guatemala Cathedral, SanFrancisco’s Church and La Merced Monastery.
Visit the hustle and bustle of a local market or go to a bus stop to see the striking Guatemalan Chicken buses.
DAY 03
Iximche
In the morning, head to the pre-Columbian archaeological site of Iximche. Behold the ruins of this ancient Mayan city, which include several pyramid-temples, painted murals and ceremonial sites. There is also a museum that showcases the various sculptures and ceramics found on this site.
DAY 04
Lake atitlan
Walk with your tour guide to Lake Atitlan, the deepest lake in Central America and take a boat across the beautiful lake to the village of San Juan. The village well known for its street murals, art galleries and weaving cooperatives.
Head to the town of Santiago Atitlan place for lunch.
Then, explore the town and its markets. Share some liquor and cigars with the locals and witness the Tzutujil Mayan ceremony for the god Maximon.
DAY 05
