Revisit the pre-classic era as you explore the archaeological site of Takalik Abaj. Witness the influences of the Olmeca, Mayan, Itzapa and local cultures. Tak'alik Ab'aj is a pre-Columbian archaeological site in Guatemala. It was formerly known as Abaj Takalik; its ancient name may have been Kooja. It is one of several Mesoamerican sites with both Olmec and Maya features.

    • Trip by a minivan for 1.5 hours to the archaeological site.

    • Check-in at the site.

    • Walk in the archaeological site for 4 hours with the guide and get acquainted with the history of different parts of the site.

    • Leave the site and return to Quetzaltenango after a 2-hour trip.

    • You can also visit a swimming pool and a restaurant for lunch during the return (Not Included in the price)
