Guatemala City-Guatemala

Discover the historic, natural & cultural heritage of Guatemala & the magic and mystery of the Mayan world, subsisting in the millenary cities like Tikal, Yaxhá, Aguateca, and Quiriguá among others.

DAY 01

Guatemala City

  • Arrival at the airport of La Aurora and transfer to the hotel in Guatemala city.

  • Stay in Clarion Suites.


DAY 02

Guatemala city – Quirigua-Livingstone

  • Have breakfast and leave for Puerto Barrios.

  • On the way, we will visit the small archaeological site of Quirigua. Here, you can see the biggest stelas of the Maya world. 

  • After this visit, we move on to Puerto Barrios to take the boat to Livingstone (Caribbean side).

  • Stay in Hotel Villa Caribe.

DAY 03


  • Have breakfast and leave for a full day sightseeing.

  • Tour to 7 Altares, Playa Blanca and some villages around Livingstone

  • Stay in Hotel Villa Caribe.

DAY 04

Río Dulce – Livingston – Flores.

  • After breakfast, travel to Rio Dulce to see El Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, island Los Pájaros, and the hot spring water. 

  • In the afternoon drive to Flores.

  • Stay in Hotel Casona De La Isla.

DAY 05

Flores – Tikal – Flores.

  • Transfer to the archaeological site of Tikal after breakfast. 

  • Visit of the most important Maya city in the Mayan world. Canopy in Tikal.

  • Afternoon, transfer to the Hotel-Hotel Casona De La Isla.

DAY 06


  • Transfer to Coban after a healthy breakfast.

  • In the afternoon visit the Vivero Verapaz orchid nursery, where there are over 35,000 plants embracing 650 species of orchids collected by the late Otto Mittelstaedt. There are miniatures which can only be examined with a magnifying glass, and other varieties the size of large bushes. Some orchids are fragrant (such as vanilla and a coconut-scented variety) and others are fetid (such as an orchid pollinated by mosquitos, which stinks like a sweaty mammal). And there are many examples of Guatemala's national flower, the Monja Blanca (white nun - Lycaste Virginalis, var. alba)

  • Visit Coban town with the rest of the group.

  • Transfer to the hotel in Coban-Park Hotel.

DAY 07

Coban-Lankin-Semuc Champey-Coban

  • Have breakfast. 

  • Transfer to Lankin and then from there to Semuc Champey.

  • Semuc Champey is a natural monument in the department of Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, near the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín. It consists of a natural 300m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabón River. On the top, the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming attraction. Although it can be difficult to get to, Semuc is becoming more and more popular with travelers.

  • Back to Coban transfer to the hotel-Park Hotel.

DAY 08

Coban-Biotopo del Quetzal-Guatemala City

  • After breakfast visit Quetzal biotope. The Quetzal Biotope, officially known as the Mario Dary Rivera Nature Reserve, is one of the fascinating nature reserves in Guatemala, protecting 3,000 acres of cloud forest and many species of birds, butterflies, orchids and exotic flowers.

  • Afternoon transfer to Hotel in Guatemala City- Clarion Suites.

DAY 09

Guatemala city-Panajachel (Lake Atitlan)

  • Transfer to the great and wonderful lake called Atitlan, to have a boat ride around this beautiful place and visit some communities around.

  • Stay in Hotel Jardines Del Lago.

DAY 10


  • After breakfast, we depart to the largest open market in Latin America, the market of Chichicastenango. 

  • Stay in Hotel Catedral.

DAY 11

Antigua Guatemala

  • Have breakfast and tour Antigua & surroundings towns. 

  • Stay in Hotel Catedral.

DAY 12

Transfer Out

  • Free time till we pick you up and drop off at the airport.

  • End of the tour.
