Continue to Arch 22, a commemorative arch on the road into Banjul in the Gambia, built-in 1996 to mark the military coup d'etat of July.
Explore Banjul market, Serrekunda market, Monkey park and a local Batik factory.
Move to a nearby fishing village and see Paradise Beach.
See the traditional Palm Wine Tappers that climb to the topmost part of the palm trees, cut it open from the side or middle, or cut down the tree for the liquid sap, and this produces lactic-alcoholic-acetic fermentation conducted by the lactic acid bacteria.
