DAY 01

Pick-up from the hotel and drive to Banjul.
Join the ferry across the Gambian River to the bustling north bank at Barra.
Drive and pass through a number of villages typical of Gambia before arriving at Fathala Game Park, which has been stocked with many species of indigenous wildlife-
Roan and Kob Antelope.
Buffalo.
Defassa Waterbuck with its distinctive white rump patch.
Patas monkeys.
Guinea baboon - the smallest baboon species.
Warthog.
African Forest Buffalo with horns that curve out backwards and upwards.
Side-striped Jackal with faint white stripes running from elbow to hip on both sides of its body.
Western Giant Eland, the world’s largest antelope, which have been introduced from Nkolkoba.
Drive to Tobakuta, which is a town in the Salum Delta.
Enjoy your lunch and relax.
Board the boat for a sunset crossing to Shippo Island, where you will visit the village of Shippo.
Return to Tobakuta for dinner around the camp-fire and indulge in stargazing.
DAY 02

Have breakfast and tour the village of Tobakuta and the market.
Go on the safari towards Misra village and its landmark cotton tree, the biggest in the Senegambia region.
Drive through the bush to the border and back to Barra for the ferry.
Return to the hotel.
