- Make your way to Borjomi, a picturesque resort town on the edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The town is famous for its mineral water and its ecologically themed amusement park.
- Marvel at the Rabati Castle. Originally established in the 9th century as the Lomisa Castle, it was completely rebuilt by the Ottomans in Akhaltsikhe. From the 13th to the end of the 14th centuries, it served as the capital monument of the South Georgian Kingdom.
- Admire the ancient Khvertisi Fortress.
- Experience the serenity of the Vardzia Cave Monastery, dating back to the twelfth century. The caves stretch along the cliff for some five hundred meters, up to nineteen tiers, and currently house five monks.
